Sporadic Fritz has fewer fibres, up to around 25mm Diameter, so it has a much 'looser' density - hence its name.
These fibres produce a very mobile, 'leggy' and in some cases a 'swimming' action in the water as you retrieve..
Sporadic Fritz also has a Braided core so it is light.. and so lends itself to smaller patterns and especially wets and nymphs.
This increased mobility and 'action' has led many fly fishermen to re-invent many of their traditional Wet Fly, Nymphs.. and even Dry Flies..
by using and incorporating Sporadic Fritz in their dressings..
