"The Company" refers to Fishing Republic

"The Buyer" refers to the customer who has entered into a purchase with Fishing Republic (The Company)

Q.           How long will my delivery take?
A.            We use two types of courier at Fishing Republic; Royal Mail and UK Mail.  Royal Mail will take 5-7 working days and is usually used for small parcels and envelopes.  UK Mail usually take 1-2 working days and we use this courier for anything over 2kg.

Q.           What if I change my mind?
A.           Rights of Cancellation: A buyer who is a consumer has the right to cancel the contract with the Company at any time within 14 days of receiving the order.

If you do not want the item or change your mind you can return the item for a full refund as long as if it's in the original packaging and unused. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details on your cancellation rights.

If you have placed an order for the wrong item then please return the item to:

Please include a cover note explaining why you are returning the item and which item you want to exchange for.  You will be required to pay return postage, but if you want the right item sending out then we will pay the postage on the replacement item.  If you wish for a refund then a refund will be given for the item only.

 

Q.           What if my item arrives broken or is faulty within the first 28 days?
A.            If you have received a faulty item or the item breaks within the first 28 days, then please first email support@fishingrepublic.net as some items require different procedures.  We may ask for photographic evidence, which can be emailed to us.  The photo must show the fault on the item.  We will accept camera, mobile phone, tablet or any other type of picture as long as the picture is clear enough to see the fault.  Once we have received proof that the item is faulty we shall arrange for our courier to deliver a replacement product.  The courier will deliver the replacement at the same time as picking the faulty one up from you.  If you require a refund only, we will arrange for the courier to pick up the faulty item on a day of your choice between the hours of 8.30am-5.00pm.

 

Q.           What if I want to order my item over the phone?
A.            Fishing Republic does accept telephone orders but please be advised that there is a minimum £20.00 spend.  Postage will also be charged at £6.50 for general items and £10.00 for poles.  For overseas shipping rates please see our ‘Shipping’ page.

 

Q.           What if I have a complaint?
A.            Fishing Republic values its customer service but in the unfortunate instance that you may need to complain then there are several ways. The quickest and easiest is to email your complaint to: complaints@fishingrepublic.net we will endeavour to answer all email complaints within 24hours. Fishing Republic prefers this method of communication as then we can keep a log on file everything that is said between the two parties (consumer and the Company). We also have a contact form on our website on the 'Contact Us' page, this can also be used to communicate your complaints to us and again we aim to deal with the complaint within 24hours. If emailing is not possible then please feel free to contact a member of our team on 0845 301 1172, please state that you have a complaint, then you will be put through to our complaints department. If you feel that we have not dealt with your complaint appropriately and to a degree that is reasonable, then you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
