Wheat Gluten is a high protein product derived from wheat. With a protein content of around 75%, wheat gluten has become very undervalued in the past few years, being considered as a poor quality product with a limiting digestibility value. In fact, it is a very cost effective product that adds a slightly rubbery skin, flexible firmness and valuable nutrients to baits.
Wheat Gluten is a superb ingredient for paste baits; adding a pliability that enables the paste to be moulded into different shapes or around leads, hook baits or other items. Can be included in base mixes at up to 50g/kg.
